Melinda has a bad head injury which puts her abilities at risk. She must come to grips with the possibility that her gift could be permanently gone. Meanwhile she tries to help a young girl who's boyfriend recently died.

Melinda helps the spirit of a black man who was murdered by a white co-worker in the '70's. The ghost haunts the prosecutor who withheld evidence that could have put his killer behind bars. Melinda helps the ghost find justice as well stops the man's son from passing on his racist beliefs to his son.
Episode 118 - Miss Fortune

Episode 118: "Miss Fortune". A traveling circus arrives in town and Melinda comes across an angry and bitter ghost of a magician who claims his brother murdered him. Melinda must investigate and help this man come to terms with his death.
Episode 115 - Melinda's First Ghost
Date: Sunday Jan 8
On Jan. 27, 2006 we are going to meet the very first spirit that Melinda ever encountered. When this young girl and Melinda were at school together, Melinda was unable to help her pass over. This prompts Melinda to obsess over helping this little girl now. Also in this episode Jim and Andrea get together to plan a surprise b-day party for Melinda...but she doesn't feel in the mood to celebrate.
Episode 114 - Last Execution
Date: Sunday Jan 8
On Jan. 13th the episode titled "Last Execution" is about Melinda helping the spirit of an executed death row inmate pass on. The man is hanging in between states and is painfully re-experiences his own death. In order for him to pass, Melinda must help him apologize to his daughter, who refuses to listen to anything she or he has to say. Also in this episode Jim has to defend himself in a lawsuit filed by a woman he saved while off-duty.

Note this could be fallacious. But we have heard that one of the characters, namely Andrea Moreno (Aisha Tyler) is being written off the show this season. Again, this is entirely not verified and from only one source. I will keep my ear to the ground to see what else I can pick up on this giant news.

Episode 105 - Lost Boys
Date: 10/21/2005
Melinda must help 3 young boys, who died in an orphanage fire, crossover before the destruction of the building locks them inside.
